My name is Neena and welcome to my crochet corner. I believe everyone must have a hobby, it is the best time you spend with yourself.
I started my crochet journey when I was in high school. I learned crochet from my grandmother. She was a visual learner as she could make a sweater just by looking at it once. Also she was perfectionist because while teaching me she would make me redo my work until it was perfect. Crochet keeps me closer to all the wonderful memories of my grandmother.
Growing up I got busy with life, started working full time in an IT company and never really crochet. A few years back when I was planning a fundraiser, we needed some ideas about things we could sell that were easy and quick to make and not very costly to buy for people visiting our fundraiser and that is when I picked up my crochet hook again and made headbands and scrunchies. It was a great hit, and we had a very successful fundraiser!
After that I kept going as I made beanies, scarfs, shawls, blankets, cardigans, pillows etc. I found my passion. I feel like I should buy all the yarn available in this world and just keep crocheting (maybe that is an exaggeration, but you understand the feeling) I don’t think I will stop anytime soon, so come and join me on this crochet journey and enjoy the ride.
